After waiting for ages and ages, the Helenium  ‘Moerheim Beauty’  have started to open. A lovely plant for late summer.

  1. Yes, such a lovely colour. Sadly heleniums are something that don’t seem to survive here although perhaps they would now with the special magic there seems to be around in the garden…

  2. Such a lovely colour, I love them too. I am.very fond of a stripey hybrid called ‘ Sahin’ s Early Flowerer’. It has such a long season of bloom. But Moorheim Beauty takes a lot of beating.

    • That is a shame Brian. I wonder if it is the same problem as Cathy. I must stop taking my plants for granted. I always think that if they grow in my garden then they would grow anywhere, but I am finding out that is not the case. I am lucky to have a lovely sunny border, but some shady spots too.
