Charity Coffee Morning/Open Garden
On Saturday 23rd July I am hosting a coffee morning/garden viewing in aid of One to One Counselling Service, Deeside. It takes several years to train counsellors to be able to provide this extremely valuable service, so all money raised is very welcome to allow this service to continue.
There is no entrance fee, just leave a donation of your choice.
Please note this event will go ahead even if the weather isn’t kind to us – wellies and brollies can be provided if required and there is plenty of room inside if you don’t want to venture out.
Do come along and taste delicious home baked cakes and biscuits, hopefully sitting outside on the patio or grass surrounded by beautiful flowers. What better way to spend a Saturday morning?
Get up close and personal to a real spinning wheel and learn about the process of turning raw fleece into lovely soft yarn. Maybe try a little spinning or carding yourself.
After enjoying your coffee and cakes, please feel free to wander around this medium sized suburban garden.
From the house, walk past the rockery, down into the main garden.
Enjoy the long south-facing herbaceous border which, at this time, should be full of flowers.
View the Japanese garden and discover the hidden stumpery under a majestic mature copper beech.

Here you will have the opportunity to buy plants and herbs that should thrive in your own garden.
If anyone wants to donate any plants please get in touch – I am happy to collect and even to dig up!
All families and friends welcome.
Hope to see you in July,
