I should have guessed it was this coreopsis when I saw the title!
This is the second year I have had it and it is bigger and better than last year. Well one plant is – I moved the other and it didn’t like it very much. I also bought a pink one this year, but is only just flowering. I don’t think it will be so spectacular as the yellow.
Lovely. It reminds me that next year I want to grow more Coreopsis. It is lovely at this time of the year. I wish it had a prettier common name than tickseed though.
Yes – it is a beautiful plant, so delicate and bright as well. That is one plant where I use the real name not the common one! I wonder where it got the name tickseed! I guess the clue will be in the seed heads – I must remember to look.
It’s a pretty one Annette. I’ve tried to grow these and they don’t do well at all. Lucky you!
That is a shame – mine is in full sun and my soil is quite light and sandy. Where did you grow yours?
